Clicking the cemetery names in the left panel will place a red marker on the map indicating the location of the cemetery and open an information window containing information about that cemetery.
If the name of the cemetery in the information box has a hyper link, clicking on it will open a cemetery page for that cemetery in the notes area.
If a gravestone icon is present, clicking on that will open a new window at Find-a-Grave.com with contributed interment records for that cemetery.
Clicking on the 'x' in the information box will close it while clicking on the marker will open it again.
Double Clicking on a position on the map will center the map on that position.
Clicking on the map and holding down the button will allow you to move the map within the window.
The navigation controls on the map are self explanatory except the center button. Clicking on it will return the map to the original center position.
The map has choices to view in four different formats:
The USGS Topographic map should size and scroll just like the Google maps and will retain the marker information on the screen. Some bugs may occur using this map as they are dependent on the map USGS server being operational. Also the zoom level for the USGS map is not as finite as the others so you may be backed out a few zoom levels is you switch formats while on the highest zoom level.
A Blue marker is placed at the center of the map and marks the location of the Muskingum County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogy Society.
